The Renault Megane family range - the three-door, five-door and the recently launched Classic and Scenic are now being joined by the long awaited head-turning Coupe-Cabriolet.

The taut, thoroughbred lines of the Megane Coupe-Cabriolet suggest fluidity and modernity. The styling instantly evokes all the enjoyment you expect from this type of vehicle. The streamlined silhouette gives the car proportions close to those found in a higher segment model, with an overall length of 4.35 metres.

With its folding glass roof, the new Megane Coupe-Cabriolet moves beyond the traditional restrictions of cabriolets by providing a permanent view of the outside world. An invitation to travel with a view of the sky, the folding glass roof of the New Megane Coupe-Cabriolet prolongs the pleasure of cabriolet driving in coupe configuration.

The transformation from coupe to cabriolet is completely automatic and takes just 22 seconds. As well as being fast and easy, opening and closing the roof is also perfectly safe. The operation can only be performed when the vehicle is stationary, the boot lid closed and the cover which separates the luggage space from the part of the boot used to stow the roof in position.

On board the New Megane Coupe-Cabriolet, driving pleasure derives from fresh sensations at the wheel and from the highest levels of comfort when on the move. Because the nominal seat height is lowered by 24mm compared with the New Megane, the driving position is more sporting, allowing the driver to feel even more at one with the car.

The New Megane Coupe-Cabriolet is available, according to engine with a choice of three units, manual or automatic - the 115 bhp 1.6 16v, the 120 bhp 1.9dCI, and the 136 bhp 2.0 16v automatic transmission.
