The Malta FA yesterday announced that the FA Trophy semi-finals draw will be made after Sunday's last match of the Premier League between Sliema Wanderers and Birkirkara which kicks off at 4.30 p.m.
The FA Trophy semi-finals will be played on Wednesday and Thursday, May 12 and 13. The final is scheduled for the following Tuesday (May 18). This will be preceded by the women's KO final which starts at 4.45 p.m.
It was also announced that the Division II/III KO final, between Zebbug and Mellieha, will be played before the second semi-final on May 13.
The Super Cup match, contested by the league champions and the FA Trophy winners, will not be played this month. The MFA said it will probably be shifted to the start of the new season on August 22.
The changes were effected due to the national team's friendly match in Freiburg against Germany on Thursday, May 27.
Malta FA suspensions
Pietà striker Ivan Woods was the only player from the Premier League to receive a one-match suspension by the Malta FA Disciplinary Commissioner yesterday. Woods will miss his team's final league match tomorrow against Floriana.
