Beangrowers will be one of the main bands during the EU enlargement celebrations this evening in Berlin, an event that is expected to draw a crowd of 150,000.

The location for the festivities is the Pariser Platz, which will have as a backdrop the Brandenburger Gate, once part of the infamous Berlin Wall, and now the symbol of a reunited Germany.

The Beangrowers will perform on the main stage at 9.30 p.m.

Last night, the Beangrowers played live in concert in Budapest, for the EU accession celebrations by Hungary.

Last December the Beangrowers had their London debut, which was followed by a series of gigs in the US in March.

Over the next few months, the band will be completing their third album.
