Obituary
CUTAJAR. On April 29, at St Luke's Hospital, MARIA, widow of Carmel, aged 79, passed peacefully away, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her children John, Martin and his wife Maria, Anton and his wife Mary, Joe and his wife Grace, MaryRose and her husband Frans Mifsud, her grandchildren Martina, Mark, Alexander, Adrian, Reuben, Timothy, Matthew and Andrew, other relatives and friends. - R.I.P. The funeral leaves St Luke's Hospital today at 2 p.m. for St Catherine's parish church, Zejtun, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2.45 p.m., followed by interment at St Gregory's Cemetery, Zejtun.
ELLUL. On April 28, at her residence, HELENA née Gasan, passed peacefully away, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her brother Joe, her sisters Paula, Sylvia and Veronica, her in-laws, Marcel, her nephews and nieces, other relatives and her numerous friends. - R.I.P. Mass praesente cadavere will be said today at 9 a.m. at Stella Maris parish church, Sliema, followed by interment at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery.

IT Meeting
The Computer Society of Malta and Malta Enterprise are organising a roundtable meeting to discuss the opportunities provided by Malta for the development of information and communication technology.
It will be held at the Victoria Hotel, in Sliema on May 14 from 8.30 - 10.30 a.m.

Bugibba Festival
St Paul's Bay local council has joined forces with a bars and restaurant association to organise a youth-targeted festival as part of the European Union celebrations. This will be held at Bugibba square tomorrow from 2pm.
Art Exhibition
The Malta Society of Arts, Manufactures & Commerce will be holding its annual art exhibition at the International Fair of Malta between June 29 and July 11, 2004.
The exhibition is open to all artists residing in Malta, even those not members of the society.
Interested artists are requested to collect a copy of the regulations and the application form from the society at Palazzo De La Salle, 219, Republic Street, Valletta.

Arts In Ireland
The last session in this year's seminar series Work in Progress in the Social Studies programme at the University of Malta is being held on Wednesday from 6 - 7.30 p.m.
Artist and art lecturer Isabelle Borg will discuss Arts in Ireland Today. The seminar will be held in room 104, Gateway Building, University of Malta. The public is welcome.
