Wider travel choice

Maltese travellers and cargo customers will benefit from greater choice when Emirates start offering double services four days a week between Dubai and Sydney.

Dubai-based Emirates, which flies to Malta three times weekly, said the new service would commence in November 2004 and the frequencies would become double daily a year from now.

Emirates Airline has been providing a non-stop daily service between Dubai and Sydney since December 2003. Its daily services to Australia currently also include Brisbane, Melbourne and Perth. All flights have outperformed expectations, particularly the Sydney services, and the new flights will help to meet the current demand, the airline said.
