Old directories to be collected

Maltacom has reached an agreement on a collection programme for recycling the old telephone directories and a number of initiatives are to be launched to encourage public participation in the environment-friendly exercise.

Further details are to be announced through an information and publicity campaign in the media.

The distribution of the Maltacom Telephone Directory 2004 is now underway.

More than 65,000 copies of the directory have already been distributed to residential and business subscribers in various localities around Malta. This represents more than 40 per cent of the total amount that will be distributed
