Theatre Traffic, a theatre appreciation group run by the Theatre Studies Department of the University of Malta, is holding a discussion on Malta, the EU and Effects on Theatre, at the Manoel Theatre coffee shop, on Thursday at 7.30 p.m.

It will discuss the possible changes that Malta's accession to the European Union will bring to the cultural environment in which local theatre makers and scholars operate. "What does the EU do to support the development of theatre? What are the structures that local theatre makers and scholars could benefit from upon accession? What are the expectations of the local theatre people?"

Theatre Traffic discussions are also recorded and broadcast on Campus FM on Mondays at 8 p.m.
