12 new entrants in CLMS programmes

FHRD welcomes the 12 students who, on April 5, started their academic journey into human resources management and development. The courses they joined are the Certificate in Training Practice, Diploma in Human Resource Management, Diploma in Training and Development, Master's in Training and Human Resource Management, Masters in Training and Performance Management, and the Taught Doctorate in Social Sciences (HRD).

The students were invited to attend launch meetings for each of their intakes to get acquainted with course rules. They were also briefed on the support structures available to them through the FHRD, which is an important aspect of any distance learning course.

The FHRD provides periodical support meetings for each individual programme; assistance on the access to the IT facilities that the University of Leicester provides its students; all administrative assistance; and also emotional support while on the course. The Foundation as the sole local agent for CLMS provides ongoing contact with the Centre in Leicester.
