UniTel, the VOIP brand of Euroweb, is issuing a commemorative phone-card to mark Malta's entry into the European Union on May 1. The card, which retails at Lm10, will be on sale tomorrow from leading shops, post office branches, lotto offices and the Euroweb offices in St Venera.

Designed by Euroweb's sister company Liquid Studios which forms part of the Techinvest Group of Companies, the card depicts the Maltese flag overlapping the EU flag with the words "Malta joins the European Union" on it.

Euroweb chairman Tony Mejlaq said: "In designing this card we wanted to commemorate this important milestone in the country's history. Our cards have today established themselves as a collectible item and this new design continues to add list of attractive cards already issued by Euroweb."
