Bank Of Valletta and St James Hospital recently signed a support agreement which will benefit hospital and bank employees and the bank's private banking clients.
The agreement was signed by Alan Cassar, BoV sales executive head and Elaine Gatt, business development executive at St James Hospital.
The employees of the two oganisations are expected to benefit from this agreement in different areas. St James Hospital employees will be eligible for the bank's value pack benefits, whereas BoV employees will enjoy discounts on a number of services offered at St James Hospital or one of its privately operated clinics.
The bank has also offered assistance through its representative offices in Tunisia, Egypt and Libya. St James are in their final stage of opening a clinic in Tripoli and BoV will be assisting St James in their future plans to expand their operations.
Through this agreement, the bank will provide private banking services through its Private Banking Division to health specialists working at St James Hospital. The hospital will be providing specific health screening services to the bank's resident Private Banking clients.
Speaking after the signing of this agreement, Mr Cassar said: "We are proud of this new collaboration with St James Hospital and we are also glad that the management at St James is acknowledging the benefits enjoyed through its association with Bank of Valletta.
Thanks to this agreement, we will be better positioned to meet the financial requirements of all St James' employees as well as to consolidate the positive professional relationship already enjoyed between the two sides."
Ms Gatt augured that this new agreement will reap the desired benefits for both organisations' employees. "Both St James and BOV share one common philosophy where they seek to offer a most professional service to clients.
