Maltacom has commenced distribution of the 2004 edition of the telephone directory.
A directive by the Malta Communications Authority establishes that each subscriber is entitled to one free copy of the directory. A limited number of extra copies will be available for sale at Maltacom branches in Malta and Gozo.
The distribution of the 2004 directory is being handled by the contractor entrusted with the production of the publication, Newsworks Ltd.
About 150,000 copies will have been distributed by the first week of May.
Later on, measures will be taken to collect the old directories for recycling purposes.
