Proof sought

No wonder Maurice Vella lives in the UK (April 1). That way he can admit to his trespassing while in Malta, without being arrested! I have spent many happy hours in the country where he is living, doing what he deplores, lawfully.

With regard to Oliver Cardona's letter on the same day, I find it disgusting that the police did not do anything about the "hunter" who shot an "adorable cocker spaniel". What I find even more deplorable is that he uses some very amusing adjectives to describe the shooter, except anything that makes sense in a police investigation.

Maybe the shooter was athletic and did not use a car, which had a number plate.

People like Mr Cardona and the people who reported that the spoonbills had been shot in Ghadira in January should take up photography as a hobby and start providing us with proof together with their sweeping statements.
