The Malta Amateur Athletics Association (MAAA) will hold a half-day coaching seminar on Sunday, April 18, at Marsa.

The seminar will include both theory and practice sessions. It is aimed to act as a 'refresher' course for those who already hold a coaching licence issued by the MAAA. The activity is also ideal for PE teachers and coaches, especially those intending to attend the IAAF Level One coaching course planned for September.

The course will be conducted by qualified coaches.

The seminar's agenda includes: hurdles running (Lara Gerada); crouch start and acceleration (Zelco Aras); 800m race (Ralph Mifsud); coaching the long and triple jumps (Leandros Calleja); and the basics of javelin throwing (Gergely Kurlscar).

More details are obtainable by phoning 21-252149 or 21-242833.
