Maltese referee Adrian D. Casha has been chosen to officiate in the 25th edition of the Dallas Cup Tournament in the United States between April 4 and 11.
This is Casha's second international appointment in a few days after he controlled the Under-23 friendly match between Greece and Australia (0-0) at the brand new Panthasseliko Stadium in Volos, Greece on Tuesday. This match served as a dress rehearsal for this summer's Olympic Games.
Accompanying Casha in the US is former FIFA referee and current MFRA vice-president Charles Agius who had served in no fewer than 12 of the past editions of this prestigious youth tournament during his career.
The Dallas Cup offers competitions in different age categories, ranging from Under 14 to Under 21.
Man. United, Blackburn Rovers, Eintracht Frankfurt, Guadalajara, and several other top South American teams will be among the 160 outfits taking part in this tournament.
