New styling for the Fiat Stilo
The Fiat Stilo
The latest version of the Fiat Stilo, featuring changes to the rear end of the five-door saloon, was launched at the Trade Fair Grounds, in Naxxar, yesterday.
UCIM Ltd managing director Francesca Mamo said the Stilo 2004 was evidence of Fiat's tireless commitment to giving motorists a model packed with new style and features that were "full of life". "These winning features have allowed Fiat to sell more than 350,000 Stilo cars throughout Europe within the car's lifetime of two years," she added.
The five-door version, launched in September 2001, has sold 175,000 while the three-door version has sold 125,000.
The changes affect the rear end of the five-door saloon. The Fiat Style Centre designers have redesigned the tailgate to remove the bumper grooves and the gem-like rear foglights from their current position near the number plate (now they are integral with the rear lights, which also feature a new interior design).
The new model offers a broad and diverse range of power units. This includes three petrol engines and four Common Rail turbodiesels (one is a multijet) with different attributes.
