It was an impressive line-up that entertained over 1,000 people who joined in at TGI Fridays to mark X-fm's first birthday.

Indeed, some of Malta's top bands and singers turned up to perform, including Kristina Casolani, Bitterside, Crosswalk, Ivan Filletti, Fabrizio Faniello and Scream Daisy.

X-fm station manager Cliff Brooks was over the moon: "I would like to thank all our listeners who turned out in force to celebrate our party".

X-fm has more big party nights lined up for the summer.

Mark and Simon Grima, directors of Grima Communications Ltd, operators of X-fm, say they were delighted with the success of X-fm's first birthday party and with the progress of the station. They are looking forward to an even better second year on air.

X-fm broadcasts totally local programming 24 hours a day from its studio complex in St Julians.
