Remanded in custody

Giovanni Spiteri, 21, of Cospicua, was yesterday remanded in custody so that he could seriously start drug rehabilitation.

Spiteri pleaded guilty to stealing a car stereo and causing wilful damage to a car belonging to Michelle Mifsud and relapsing.

Police Inspector Jesmond Borg prosecuted.

Dr Franco Debono appeared for Spiteri.
