A Syrian man living in Malta was yesterday fined Lm200 on pleading guilty to employing two foreigners without informing the Employment and Training Corporation.

The court condemned Azmi Chilach, 29, after considering that one of those employed had been working for him for only a day and was leaving Malta that same day, while the other had been in his employment for six days.

Inspector Nadia Lanzon prosecuted.
