Three loveable puppies were discovered by two passersby huddled in a hole in the bastion of Fort Chambray in Gozo after they had been mercilessly dumped.

The puppies were literally crying for help and were found to be badly dehydrated. However, thanks to some love and care from the SPCA (Gozo) Centre, which picked up the puppies as soon as it was alerted about them, they are now in good health and searching for a home.

Anyone who would like to adopt them or any of the animals at the SPCA should call the SPCA (Gozo) Animal Rehoming Centre on 2155 3769, or contact the centre manager, Betty Berry, on 9980 7067.
