Eleven Gozitan government workers have been transferred from Malta to carry out clerical work in Gozo, Gozo Minister Giovanna Debono said.

On a visit to the new administrative centre in Victoria, she said the government's policy was to ensure that clerical work that could be carried out in Gozo, would be done there.

Since October 1998, a total of 84 government workers have transferred to Gozo.
