The Labour Party's deputy leader, Charles Mangion, yesterday visited Pembroke as part of the party's activities to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Freedom Day.

Dr Mangion, who was accompanied by mayor Joe Zammit, visited a number of places in Pembroke that demonstrate how the locality has developed from military quarters to a residential, educational and administrative zone.
