MLP deputy leader Michael Falzon said that while the party remembered the achievements of the past it had to look forward.

"There would be no future if we forget our departure point," he said when he addressed a seminar on Malta Hielsa: F'Salib it-Toroq organised by the MLP's education secretariat.

He said the future posed difficult choices and new realities. "But despite this, we should not be discouraged. We have to look ahead with courage, the same as that of our predecessors to win freedom," Dr Falzon said.
