Youth Day is being celebrated with a number of events at Bay Street, St Julian's this weekend.

The organisation of the celebrations is being co-ordinated by the Youth Section within the Ministry for Youth and the Arts and KNZ.

Today's events include sports, dances and musical performances.

The icing on the cake will be Julie and Ludwig's performance this evening. Throughout the whole activities, a number of local youth organisations shall also set up various stands related to the main themes of the new National Youth Policy.

National Youth Day is a good opportunity for the public, especially young people, to get to know better Maltese youth and their work, ideas and talents.
