¤ A retreat for women, led by Fr Paul Deguara, with the theme 'the true conversion' is being held at the Xaghra parish centre on Tuesday from 9 to 11 a.m.
¤ A healthy eating campaign is being organised by the Home Economics teachers of the Agius De Soldanis, Girls' Secondary School, with the collaboration of students and their parents, at the main school hall, from Wednesday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Minister Giovanna Debono and other personalities will attend.
During the campaign, which will emphasise food for a healthy lifestyle, various food items available on the local market and sponsored by local companies will be exhibited and distributed. Leaflets published by the Health Promotion Department on healthy eating and diet-related diseases will also be distributed. There will also be talks on eating disorders by nutritionist Gordon Zammit and child psychologist Dorothy Scicluna, a demonstration of various cooking equipment and sale of related books.
¤ The feast of the Annunciation is being celebrated in one of the oldest chapels in Gozo, in Lunzjata Valley, limits of Victoria, on Friday.
Bishop Nikol Cauchi will lead a concelebrated Mass at 4.30 p.m., followed by a Eucharistic blessing and adoration of the relic. Masses will be celebrated throughout the day.

¤ A penitential pilgrimage with the statue of the Crowning with Thorns is being held from St Anthony's parish church to the Xaghra parish church on Friday at 6 p.m.
¤ A car boot sale, in aid of the Friends of the Sick and Elderly in Gozo is being held at Marsalforn Car Park on Sunday from 9 a.m. onwards. There is a fee of Lm3 per car.
¤ The three-act play Passjoni Saltnatu, written and directed by JoAnne Debrincat, is being staged by the Ghajnsielem Drama Group at Ghajnsielem parish church on March 29 and 30 at 8 p.m.
