The Sol Suncrest Hotel has continued to strengthen its management team with the appointment of a food and beverage manager, an assistant financial controller and a security manager.
The post of food and beverage manager has been occupied by Kevin Demicoli, who has a wealth of experience in this area of operation, having worked in various hotels in Malta and overseas. Ms Lucienne Camilleri, a certified public accountant with university degrees in accountancy and banking and finance, has taken up the post of assistant financial controller. Ms Camilleri has gained valuable experience in the hotel industry having worked in a four-star hotel prior to her employment with the Sol Suncrest. The new security manager at the Sol Suncrest is Pierre Calleja who joined the hotel after 25 years of service with the police force.
Speaking about the new appointments, Sol Suncrest CEO Mr George Schembri said that "with their experience and academic qualifications, the appointment of the three new managers will continue to enhance the level of service and professionalism at the Sol Suncrest. The new recruits will form an integral part of the hotel's management team, which is committed to strengthen the company's organisational structures and increase market share in the hospitality industry."
