In February the inflation rate stood at 1.70 per cent, up from 1.57 per cent in January, according to statistics issued yesterday by the National Statistics Office.

In February 2002, the inflation rate stood at 1.58.

In February 2004, the Retail Prices Index went up by 0.03 per cent to 102.23, from 102.20 in the previous month.
