The General Workers Union yesterday expressed anger at Maltapost's failure to heed its protests over the lack of security at branches.
Since it was privatised, the company had introduced policies which left a substantial number of counter administrators working on their own in a number of branches, the GWU said in the wake of Wednesday's hold-up at Maltapost's Qormi branch.
It said the hold-up should serve as a lesson and called for its proposals to be implemented immediately.
