Budding scientists to display works

NSTF - Science Week 2004 will be held at St James Cavalier, in Valletta between March 22 - 28.

Science Week is the peak of the NSTF Science Programme, held in collaboration with the Malta Chamber of Scientists, when works and original research from science contests for students will be exhibited and the final Malta Student Science Forum session is held.

The week is open to students and the general public. Schools will be invited to visit during the mornings by appointment, when the visiting students will be able to learn from their colleagues whose projects are exhibited.

They will also be able to follow a theatre performance about the water cycle, for which participation is also through pre-arranged booking.

A number of university student organisations will be participating in Science Week.

Prize-winners of the various contests will be announced during the closing ceremony at the end of the week.

For further information, contact Sandra Scicluna at nstf@nsts.org or on tel. 2124 4983 ext. 241.
