Recruitment drive at Westin

The Westin Dragonara Resort in St Julians has launched its annual recruitment drive. This two-day programme aims to attract students from university and the Institute for Tourism Studies, although the public is also invited. The activity offers students the opportunity to gain further knowledge of the hospitality industry and presents job and career options.

The campaign was launched by Parliamentary Secretary Dolores Cristina.

Within a few weeks Westin Dragonara and the Ministry for Social Policy will be signing a partnership agreement on human resources development and the Six Sigma Methodology, providing the ministry's staff with the opportunity of participating in Westin's monthly training events.

Six Sigma is a leading-edge management philosophy successfully deployed by Starwood, the owners of the Westin brand.
