What is ERDF?

The European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) is one of four Structural Funds made available by the European Union (EU). In Malta the coordination of the ERDF falls under the direct responsibility of the Planning and Priorities Coordination Directorate (PPCD), also referred to as the Managing Authority at the Office of the Prime Minister.

Projects for which ERDF grant is requested must fit one or more of the eligible actions described in the programme complement of the Single Programming Document (SPD). Applications with proposals for such projects are available at the PPCD and will close on March 18, 2004. More information available at www.ppcd.gov.mt where there is also a copy of the SPD. PPCD can also be contacted by email: info@ppcd.gov.mt.
