An explosion wrecked a building belonging to a Masonic lodge in Turkey's business capital Istanbul yesterday evening, killing three people and injuring at least seven, NTV commercial television reported.
At least one suicide bomber was behind the blast which hit the building used by freemasons in Istanbul late yesterday, Turkey's NTV and CNN television channels reported.
At least three people were killed in the explosion, they said, adding that it had occurred on the Asian side of the Bosphorus Straits which bisect Turkey's largest city. NTV said two of the dead were believed to be suicide bombers.
