World Book Day

I refer to photo article on World Book Day (March 6) and would like to correct one detail. World Book Day was celebrated in Malta together with the rest of the English-speaking world on Thursday, March 4 and not on April 23 as indicated in The Times.

I refer to photo article on World Book Day (March 6) and would like to correct one detail. World Book Day was celebrated in Malta together with the rest of the English-speaking world on Thursday, March 4 and not on April 23 as indicated in The Times. In fact, we noted that this year, for the first time, there was no feature in The Times to mark the occasion.

Indeed, the Zejtun donation the article referred to was held on Thursday on the occasion of World Book Day. More information on World Book Day, including its Unesco origin can be found on the official website at www.worldbookday.com.
