The Graffitti group has expressed support for the proposals submitted by the Malta Gay Rights Movement against discrimination based on sexual orientation.

It said it was concerned about the results of a survey conducted by the movement, in which more than one in 10 gay respondents claimed they had been subjected to some form of violence because of their sexual orientation, including harassment, degrading treatment and bullying.

Graffitti appealed for the introduction of clear anti-discrimination legislation.
