Bid to boost literacy levels
The HSBC Cares For Children Fund is distributing Lm2,000 of new books to schools in the inner harbour area.
HSBC Cares For Children Fund is in the process of distributing about Lm2,000 worth of books to various schools in the inner harbour area.
As part of this initiative, HSBC's southern area manager, Tony Vella Gregory, presented a set of new books to Jane Axisa, head teacher at the Senglea primary school.
The fund's efforts to help literacy levels in both Valletta and Cottonera will continue in the coming months ahead.
