'Musto' weekend regatta

A weekend regatta, sponsored by 'Musto', was organised by the Malta Young Sailors Club at St Paul's Bay in the last weekend of February.

Races were held for three boat classes. In the Optimist Class, Benji Borg placed first ahead of Karl Cremona and William Camilleri who were second and third respectively.

Gabriel Pace was the winner of the Optimist Cadet Class with Sean Borg finishing second and Sarah Manduca third.

Andrew Selvagi came first in the Laser Radial Class, while Zak Borg and Peter Micallef placed second and third respectively.

The Laser 4.7 Class was won by Christophe Podesta followed by Marc Calascione and Liz Apap Bologna.

Darius Goodman, representing the sponsors of the regatta, handed out prizes to the winning sailors at the Malta Young Sailors' clubhouse on Sunday afternoon.
