The Sharks made a big impression early on, building a 10-6 lead after four innings but faltered in the sixth when pitcher John Marks wore down as a result of arm fatigue.
The Tornadoes scored nine times in the inning and easily finished the game as winners mainly thanks to fine performances from winning pitcher Charles Attard and Silvio Sultana.
Attard gave up just two earned runs on three hits in a five-inning relief appearance and Sultana hit four for six including a double, triple and five runs.
