A 41-year-old man from San Gwann, residing in St Paul's Bay, is expected to be arraigned soon on drug trafficking charges.

The police said the man was found in possession of more than 0.5kg of cannabis resin, as well as cash and other objects related to drug trafficking. He was held on Wednesday.

Duty magistrate Miriam Hayman has ordered an inquiry.
