A number of beauties from 47 countries will be gracing our shores in June, as Catwalk Productions stage the World Bikini Model International beauty pageant.

The contest has been pencilled in for June 6 at the Dragonara Casino, St Julians.

Miss Teen Russia, Yulia Sharshakova, was present for the launch for the contest held yesterday.

Those placing first, second and third will be awarded with sculptured trophies in glass designed by Michael Micallef.

The winner will be invited to visit various Grand Prix organised around the world as a host girl.
