Band in San Remo festival

The St Mary Band of Mosta has taken part in the sfilata di Carri in Fiore, held last month in San Remo, Italy.

The theme of this year's San Remo Flower Festival was the enlargement of the European Union, with one band from each of the acceding countries invited to participate.

During their stay in San Remo, the band took part in the Flower Parade along the famous San Remo promenade and also performed in the town's main square as well as in the Ariston theatre.

HSBC Mosta assisted the band to meet the costs of its participation.
