A cooperation agreement has been signed by the University of Malta and the Anhalt University of Applied Sciences.

University of Malta rector Roger Ellul-Micallef signed for the University of Malta and vice-president Leo Schwaiger signed for the Anhalt university.

Cooperation will take place mainly in the fields of landscape architecture, geographic information systems and their application in environmental planning and architecture but there is also a possibility to extend the cooperation agreement in further areas such as road engineering.

The agreement has several aims, among them the exchange of information regarding teaching and research, staff and student exchanges and mutual academic support in identified areas of planning and architecture.
