Three held after heroin find
A total of 51 grams of heroin were found in two separate cases yesterday, which resulted in the arrest of three men.
The police said that 50g of heroin were found in the garage and car belonging to a 24-year-old man from Qormi yesterday afternoon.
The police also arrested a 22-year-old and a 35-year-old near the St Maria Addolorata Cemetery, after 1g of heroin was allegedly found in their car.
Duty Magistrate Silvio Meli appointed a number of experts to help in the inquiry.
The three men are to be arraigned in the coming days.
