Milos Stanisavljevic's Malta U-18 national side is set to make its international debut this morning when they play Spain in their opening match from the first Mediterranean Youth Handball Championship being held in Oporto, Portugal.

It will be a hectic day for the Maltese lads as later on in the evening they are scheduled to play their second match against France.

Twelve nations are taking part. Apart from Spain and France, Malta U-18 will also play against Greece, Turkey and Egypt in the group.

The top three from both groups will make it through to the next phase while the remaining six teams will battle it out to determine the final overall classification.
