The New training Website, organised and produced by the Foundation for Human Resources Development, is being launched on March 1.

The Website contains updated information about training courses, workshops, seminars and activities, training providers and training best practice to the general community, and is a useful reference point for all training needs. It will replace the Calendar of Training Events, which used to be publicised in the local media quarterly and which was a valuable medium both for the training provider and for those seeking training events.

The new training Website has a very user-friendly layout. On accessing the Website, users are presented with the main categories of the training programmes available.

They can then click on the respective category and the details of the respective training courses will appear on screen. Details and direct links to the training provider's Website are also available.

The training Website offers a host of benefits.

To training providers, trainingmalta.org will:

¤ promote the organisation's training and training services to a wide audience;

¤ have more impact and be more cost effective than advertising alone;

¤ generate customer enquiries and feedback;

¤ provide ideas for other training products and services not catered for in the market; and

¤ promote a high profile for training.

To the training seekers, trainingmalta.org will:

¤ bring together details of training opportunities in a single source;

¤ help human resource practitioners and those responsible for training, to plan training and review the various training providers in the market; and

¤ encourage people to undertake training by being better informed about what training services are available.
