Children's carnival today

Valletta came to life yesterday with dancing at St George's Square and the start of the dancing competition in Freedom Square, in the second day of carnival.

There was also a show in Zebbug and the opening of a carnival-themed art competition which will remain open in the foyer of the Education Ministry in Floriana until Tuesday.

Today, the children's carnival will be held at Freedom Square between 9.30 and 11.30 a.m. with the traditional defile' starting at Castille Square at 2 p.m.

Carnival is also being celebrated with a variety programme in Paola, starting at 6.45 p.m.
