Pressure mounts on bedroom challengers

After 90 hours, the contenders of the Bay Street Bedroom challenge are starting to feel the pressure.

Robbie Grech has already dropped out and David Cuschieri was voted out. Now it is up to Maria Galea and Paul Christie to make it to the 100 hour mark and win a brand new bedroom courtesy of CBR Furniture and a flight to London sponsored by Bargain Holidays.

The Bay Street Bedroom challenge is seeking to raise awareness and funds for the YMCA Homeless Project.

The contenders have had a number of visitors including YMCA Homeless Project coordinator Jean Paul Mifsud, Julie and Ludwig, fresh from their success at the Song for Europe Contest, talk show host Peppi Azzopardi and entertainer Martin Sapiano who, in support, joined the contestants in their pyjamas.

The public can contribute directly by calling 5061 6001 for a donation of 50c, 5061 7362 for a donation of Lm1 and 5061 8069 for a contribution of Lm2.
