The Aquatic Sports Association (ASA) recently informed council members that the Liegue Europeene De Natation (LEN) had accepted Robbie Ebejer's invitation to hold the next Bureau meeting in Malta between April 2 and 3.

The meeting will be the penultimate one of the Bureau as its term of office expires at the next LEN Congress in London at the end of September.

Ebejer, the ASA president, was elected Bureau member in 1994 which post he still occupies to date.

Meanwhile, through the existing protocol between the Malta Olympic Committee and Italian counterparts CONI, the association will be organising a waterpolo coaches clinic with the main topic being Coaching and Preparing Waterpolo Goalkeepers.

During the last ASA council meeting, Ebejer informed those present that Francesco Attolico, considered one of the world's greatest goalkeepers ever, had accepted to conduct the seminar between May 15 and 20. At present, Attolico occupies the post of assistant coach of the Italian national team.

The ASA has entrusted national team goalkeepers Joseph Caruana Dingli and Josie Cachia, as well as former goalkeeper Adrian Cachia, to prepare a programme and salient points to be discussed during the seminar.
