British High Commissioner Vincent Fean and Mrs Fean hosted a reception to present certificates awarded to the Chevening Scholars who studied in the UK during the scholastic year 2002/3.

Each year, a number of outstanding Maltese students are awarded Chevening Scholarships by the British High Commission and British Council, funded through the Foreign and Commonwealth Office and the generosity of Maltese and British businesses and institutions.

The High Commissioner thanked the current sponsors who are Farsons plc, Midi plc, Salvo Grima & sons, Cable & Wireless, Middlesea Insurance plc, Malta Financial Services Authority and Malta Resources Authority.
