Presentation of books by Italian ambassador

Italian Ambassador Dr Alvise Memmo recently presented a number of books to the University Library. He was accompanied by Dr Rosanna Cravenna, director of the Italian Cultural Institute.

Among the titles are books specially chosen by the members of the Department of Italian. The Rector thanked the Ambassador for the gift and commented that, since the subject matter ranges from the most recent Zanichelli dictionary to a history of Europe and a dictionary of film, the books will be of great interest to students from different disciplines.

Anthony Mangion, Director of Library Services, Professor J.M. Brincat, head of the Department of Italian, Dr Sandro Caruana and Professor Joe Eynaud from the Department of Italian were present at the book donation.
