Traditional Carnival Ball organised by Lions Clubs

Preparations are in the final stages for a revival of the traditional Grand Carnival Ball being organised by five Lions Clubs in Malta in aid of YMCA Homeless Shelter.

The ball will be held at the Casino Maltese in Valletta on Friday at 8 p.m.

A YMCA spokesman said the event includes welcome drinks and canapés and a seated full course dinner.

Entertainment will be provided by live brass bands.

Tickets, which cost Lm15, may be delivered on request to all areas of the island upon reservation.
