¤ The Lourdes Home is organising a bazaar at its premises in Ghajnsielem from Wednesday to Saturday. Clothes, shoes, plants, baskets, soft toys and other items will be on sale.
¤ A competition for the best children's carnival costume is being organised by the Leone Band Club during a high tea held outside the club on Friday from 7 p.m. Those wishing to participate are to contact the club's secretary on 2156-2974 from 5.30 to 7 p.m. by Tuesday.
¤ Zebbug council is importing olive trees from Italy. The trees which will be planted in the village limits, are to be sold at Lm2.25 each to residents of Zebbug and Marsalforn only. Applications for the trees can be obtained from the local council's office till Friday.
¤ A foundation course in Economics and Accounts is being organised for those wishing to complete a Bachelor of Commerce degree or Diploma in Commerce course, at the University of Gozo Centre during March and July.
